1. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen is the first QB to be QB1 in consecutive years. Devin Singletary and James Cook also add more depth to this offense and fill out the only weakness the Bills had, which was their running game.

2. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert was an outstanding young quarterback, being 2nd and 3rd in passing yards and TDs. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler finish out the catching portion.

3. Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals fixed their offensive line and has one of the younger offenses overall in the league, which plays well for future-proofing and durability. Of course, Joe Burrow led the team to the Super Bowl last season, showing their offensive prowess.

4. Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes making the Chiefs lead the team in yards per play, Travis Kelce is undoubtedly the best TE in the game currently, and Tyreek Kill’s position is replaced with a group including JuJu Smith-Schuster and incoming rookie Skyy Moore, what more could you ask for?

5. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have been top-12 in offensive yards each season of HC Sean McVay’s tenure. They can consistently move the ball and might be even better in QB Matthew Stafford‘s second year in the system.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Antionio Brown is gone, Chris Godwin might not recover in time, and Rob Gronkowski retired (supposedly). However, the team still has G.O.A.T. QB Tom Brady and offensive menaces like Mike Evans, Russell Gage, and Leonard Fournette.

7. Dallas Cowboys

In 2021 Dallas ranked first in points per game, second in points per play, seventh in EPA and success rate per play, and sixth in total plays. While the team lost Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup could be slow out the gate, this roster still has plenty of firepower to repeat those mouthwatering numbers this year.

8. San Francisco 49ers

Last season the 49ers finished sixth in EPA per play and 12th in offensive success rate. Trey Lance could offer a different dynamic to the offense. The team still has a great cast of players like George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and Elijah Mitchell.

9. Denver Broncos

The Broncos somehow managed to finished 12th in positive EPA/dropback last season despite rolling out below-average QBs. The credit goes to the vast array of talent skill players ranging from WR Courtland Sutton to RB Javonte Williams and TE Noah Fant. Adding Russell Wilson into the mix is what makes this team a Super Bowl-caliber roster because they finally have an offense that match their top-10 defense.

10. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have some stars like Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, and Dalvin Cook, but there are some players like Adam Thielen that are becoming older. The offensive line is average, and Kevin O’Connell will have a hard time replicating the success Sean McVay had.

11. Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ WR situation is problematic, but the rest of their offense is in great shape. It starts with Aaron Rodgers, of course. At age 38, Rodgers is still at the height of his powers, earning his second straight MVP award last season. Pro Bowl-level performers David Bakhtiari and Elgton Jenkins will return from knee injuries to anchor a talented and deep offensive line. Green Bay has thunder and lightning at running back with A.J. Dillon and Aaron Jones.

12. Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts led an offense that was 12th in EPA and points per play last year. With Devonta Smith and A.J. Brown, this offense is bound to achieve a great deal next season.

13. Baltimore Ravens

In QB Lamar Jackson‘s two seasons with 15-plus games, the Ravens were Nos. 1 & 7 in scoring. And as bad as you might think they were last year, they were still No. 6 in yardage. As long as Jackson doesn’t suffer an injury, this offense will move.

14. Las Vegas Raiders

If the Raiders stay healthy and new HC Josh McDaniels has the right feel for his new personnel, then Las Vegas could be the sleeper offense of the 2022 season. They already showed a lot of heart down the stretch last year, with poor health and tumultuous circumstances. Davante Adams’ addition will be a great help for the team as well.

15. Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals don’t have a great offensive line and they have yet to become a top-10 scoring offense in the Kliff Kingsbury regime, despite posting top-8 yardage numbers the past two seasons. Although there’s no denying the combination of Kingsbury and QB Kyler Murray has improved for three consecutive seasons. The Arizona QB posted career highs across the majority of passing efficiency marks in 2021 — including the No. 1 big-time throw rate (8.1%) from a clean pocket per PFF.

16. Indianapolis Colts

Matt Ryan is a significant upgrade over Carson Wentz. His defensive line has some talented players, and the team has offensive powerhouses like Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines, and Michael Pittman Jr.

17. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins added Tyreek Hill to catch alongside Jaylen Waddle, but now Tua Tagovailoa has to step it up and perform better than he has before in order to fully utilize the offense he has.

18. New England Patriots

The Patriots are without longtime OC Josh McDaniels, but his loss could be outweighed by the continued development of second-year QB Mac Jones, who last year was No. 8 in success rate (50.5%, per RBs Don’t Matter).

19. Detroit Lions

Jared Goff needs some work, but with players like incoming rookie Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown, they have a good WR crop. If D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson can play all the games, then their offense is one to look out for.

20. New Orleans Saints

The Saints have raw talent. However, Alvin Kamara faces suspension, and Michael Thomas is recovering from his injury. That leaves Jarvis Landry, Jameis Winston, and Chris Olave that are definitely available for the offense. The offensive line did lose a great player in Terron Armstead.

21. Cleveland Browns

With Deshaun Watson, this offense is deadly. However, he is out for six games, a decent portion of the season. The offensive line is arguably the best in the league, but there’s no clear-cut winners in catching besides Amari Cooper. Without Watson, more ball control goes to RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

22. Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry makes this team a good deal. Robert Woods and incoming rookie Treylon Burks are good WRs, but Ryan Tannehill has to prove his turnovers last year were an aberration based on a lack of weapon continuity. The injuries last year to this team were ludicrous some weeks.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris was a dual-threat player as a rookie. The team has good wide receiver potential with players like Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson, and incoming rookie George Pickens. However, the Steelers failed to adequately address a shabby offensive line that PFF ranks as the NFL’s third-worst. QB remains an issue, too. Ben Roethlisberger has retired, leaving Mitch Trubisky and incoming rookie Kenny Pickett competing for the job. The Steelers ranked 28th in yards per play last year.

24. Carolina Panthers

D.J. Moore and Christian McCaffrey are leaders in their positions for the offense, but the QB situation is seriously bad, with Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold having to compete with each other. Hopefully one of them can at least step up and take the Panthers far.

25. New York Jets

The Offense has insane potential with Breece Hall, Michael Carter, Elijah Moore, and Garrett Wilson. But they also have QB Zach Wilson, who was horrible last year (5.3 AY/A). If Wilson does step it up, then the team moves up quite a few spots on this list. But, for now, based on what’s happened, they fall relatively low.

26. Washington Commanders

The team has underrated players like Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson.  Carson Wentz is far from perfect, but his 27 passing touchdowns, 7 interceptions, and 67.9 PFF passing grade are miles better than Washington’s 20 passing touchdowns, 15 interceptions, and 58.3 PFF passing grade in 2021.

27. New York Giants

The Giants were putrid last season, ranking 31st in points per game. The offensive line has received a big upgrade, though. Saquon Barkley is returning from injuries, and if Kadarius Toney and Wan’Dale Robinson step up, the team will turn heads.

28. Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne provide good offense, and the addition of Christian Kirk is nice as well. This team lacked any coherent game plans last year. No matter what you think of Doug Pederson, there will at least be a professional guiding the offense in ’22.

29. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle has lost Russell Wilson and has to deal with the extreme downgrades of Drew Lock and Geno Smith. Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf remain the hopes for this offense.

30. Chicago Bears

The Bears traded up in the 2021 NFL Draft to grab their QB of the future, and they’ve done very little to help him ever since. Chicago’s offensive line is among the worst in the league. Darnell Mooney is a good young receiver, but the rest of the WR corps is questionable. Fields has a great arm and can run, but it will be hard for him to maximize his talents with a supporting cast this bad.

31. Houston Texans

The Texans offense has only one reliable player that can put up points for fantasy managers and that is Brandin Cooks. No team has a lower aggregated fantasy football ADP than the Houston Texans.

32. Atlanta Falcons

The immediate outlook for the Falcons offense is bleak. The O-line has some flaws, and Marcus Mariota hasn’t been promising in recent years. Kyle Pitts and Drake Landon remain the only hopes for this team at WR, while the RBs have Damien Williams and Tyler Allgeier (Cordarrelle Patterson might be too old).
